Nuage Networks announced today that TMC, a global, integrated media company, has named its Virtualized Services Platform (VSP) as a 2014 Cloud Computing Excellence Award winner. The Cloud Computing Excellence Award, presented by Cloud Computing magazine, recognizes companies that have most effectively leveraged cloud computing in their efforts to bring new, differentiated offerings to market.

“With the ever growing adoption of software-defined networking, we’re honored to be named a winner for the Cloud Computing Excellence Award,” said Sunil Khandekar, CEO of Nuage Networks. “It’s always been our mission at Nuage Networks to empower our customers to finally deliver on the true promise of the cloud and it’s exciting to see this become a reality.”…

The Virtualized Services Platform lays the foundation for an open and dynamically controlled datacenter network fabric to accelerate application programmability, facilitate unconstrained mobility, and maximize compute efficiency for cloud service providers, web-scale operators and leading tech enterprises across the globe. The VSP eliminates the constraints that have held back the responsiveness and efficiency of the network for cloud computing.

“Recognizing leaders in the advancement of cloud computing, TMC is proud to announce Nuage Networks VSP as a recipient of the Fourth Annual Cloud Computing Excellence Award,” said Rich Tehrani, CEO, TMC. “Nuage Networks is being honored for their achievement in bringing innovation and excellence to the market, while leveraging the latest technology trends. It is our pleasure to honor Nuage Networks for their inspiring work”

Winners of the 2014 Cloud Computing Excellence Award were announced via press release and will be published in Cloud Computing magazine.
